1) Don’t  take those huge Cruise Ships. Unless you really like to get crowded with other 5,000 passengers inside the same building for a week, waiting and disputing for everything you like.  Also if you like to sleep in tiny rooms, to eat in huge eateries serving average food everyday, and not to know anything about your destinations, then this is the place. Go for it!  But in other hand, if you love luxury hotels with comfortable beds and prestige services and if you like to know the places you are visiting, skip cruises at any cost.
